1 BUSINESS – 3 LOOKS: PART 1 – ELEGANTER TAGESLOOK

EN| Today, I want to introduce you to a small series, which I am starting today. It is about “1 Business – 3 Looks”, where I want to show you in three blogposts, three different looks, which represent my blogger business and my hometown Hamburg. Because so many of you, my friends, family and so on asked me, what I have to wear for different occasions? I normally dress intuitive and never overthink looks. But at the same time, I want to be well dressed for Dinners, Lunch Meetings, Events and Weekend Trips. In many professions, there are rules, what to wear. In finance, you often have to wear suits or dresses. In creative professions, you can dress more casual. For me as a blogger, I can wear, what I want and feel like. On the other hand, I have a lot of events, which I have to attend and dress properly, even though, I was running around all day.

So, what is this all about?

HUAWEI asked me, after testing the HUAWEI Media Pad M2 10.0 (h e r e), if I want to test the new HUAWEI MateBook and in which kind of way it fits to my everyday life as a blogger in my hometown Hamburg. Because I really liked the Media Pad M2 10.0, I did not have to think twice and said yes. Since then, I have the MateBook with me during Meetings and while I am traveling to take a closer look.

Because I am traveling a lot and because I am always on a run, the new MateBook is pretty great for me. It is a notebook, which gives me the power of a notebook while traveling and at the same time, I can use it as a tablet. For me, that is the greatest combination, because now I can work and prepare things already before even being at home. I can write my blogposts in between shootings or meetings in a café and don´t have to wait until I am in my apartment. The best thing about it? It is super light and small, so I can just put it in my bag:)

My Idea

For the presentation of the new MateBook, I want to share with you a series of three blogposts, in which I show you three looks out of my everyday life as a blogger in my hometown Hamburg. “1 Business – 3 Looks”: As a blogger, I have to be super flexible regarding outfits, times and schedules. I could talk about so many times, when I had to switch outfits in cars or in between shootings or events. Often, I am having outfit shootings, after that I have to go to a Meeting with an agency and at night, I am having a business dinner. Nevertheless, it is one business, even though, it brings several different requirements regarding outfits and everything else. Today, I want to share my first blogger look with you:

The elegant daylook in Hamburg

I would love to wear todays look every day! It is just such a “Laura” look, I would say. I am combining dark blue leather coulottes with a light cashmere knit. Together with that, I am wearing an olivgreen coat, which makes the look a little bit more “day like”. My velvet boots are the eyecatcher of the whole outfit. As accessoires, I am wearing gold creoles and my black Chanel bag.

This look is perfect for the whole day and especially for Hamburg, the city, where I am living. Hamburg is a pretty chic, but still casual city. It depends on which area you are in, where people dress a little more chic or casual. Those pictures were taken in Winterhude. On the other hand, Hamburg is a grey and windy city. It is always good, especially in winter or fall, to have a coat with you, because it is windy all the time. If you are having a lunch date: Go for it! You have an invitation for an event? Perfect! If you want to wear this look a little bit more casual, just change the boots and wear white sneakers.

DE| Heute möchte ich euch eine kleine Reihe an Postings vorstellen, die ich in den nächsten Wochen zeigen werde. Unter dem Motto “1 Business – 3 Looks” zeige ich euch in einer Reihe von drei Blogposts drei verschiedene Looks, die alle in meiner Stadt Hamburg fotografiert wurden, die mein Business, den Beruf des Bloggens, so mit sich bringt. Von euch, meiner Familie, meinen Freunden, Bekannten oder bei Meetings werde ich oft gefragt, was ich denn für bestimmte Anlässe anziehe? Ich selbst ziehe mich meistens ganz intuitiv für Meetings, Events, Abendveranstaltungen, aber auch Wochenend Trips, etc. an. Bei vielen Berufen gibt es eine bestimmte “Kleiderordnung”. Arbeitet man im Büro, in einer Bank oder in einer Agentur? Muss der Anzug herhalten oder ist es in Ordnung, wenn man etwas legerer daherkommt? Bei mir ist dies nicht so streng geregelt, trotzdem will man immer passend gekleidet auf einem Event oder zu einem Meeting erscheinen, auch wenn man den gesamten Tag unterwegs war.

Was es damit auf sich hat?

Ich wurde von HUAWEI gefragt, ob ich nicht nach dem HUAWEI Media Pad M2 10.0 (welches ich euch h i e r vorgestellt habe) auch einmal das neue HUAWEI MateBook testen will und in welcher Art und Weise es genau zu meinem alltäglichen Leben und Business in Hamburg und als Bloggerin passen würde. Da ich schon von dem Media Pad M2 10.0 sehr überzeugt war, musste ich nicht lange nachdenken und habe das MateBook seitdem mit auf Reisen und Meetings genommen, um es einmal genauer unter die Lupe zu nehmen.

Da ich sehr viel unterwegs bin, eignet sich das neue MateBook für mich perfekt. Es ist ein Notebook, welches mir, wenn ich unterwegs bin, die Vielseitigkeit eines Laptops bietet, aber auch gleichzeitig ohne Tastatur als Tablet genutzt werden kann. Für mich ist es einfach praktisch, weil ich so von unterwegs direkt schon meine Texte schreiben, Bilder bearbeiten oder Videos schneiden kann. Aber natürlich auch alles andere an Dingen erledigen kann und nicht erst warten muss, bis ich zuhause bin. Außerdem ist es super leicht und ich kann es einfach in der Handtasche verstauen. 🙂

Meine Idee

Im Rahmen der Vorstellung des neuen MateBooks möchte ich euch also in dieser Reihe von drei Blogposts  drei Looks aus meinem alltäglichen Leben als Bloggerin in Hamburg zeigen. “1 Business – 3 Looks”: Als Blogger muss man sehr flexibel sein. Oft geht es von einem Outfitshooting an der Alster direkt zu einem Event auf die Schanze, danach zum Meeting in die Hafencity, in eine Agentur in Eppendorf und Abends noch zu einem Business Dinner an den Hafen. Trotzdem bleibt es aber ein Business, bei dem einfach und vor allem bei so unterschiedlichen Anforderungen der Outfits Flexibilität gefragt ist.  Heute möchte ich euch meinen ersten Bloggerlook, den “eleganten Tageslook” vorstellen:

Der elegante Tageslook in Hamburg

Meinen heutigen Look würde ich so am liebsten jeden Tag in Hamburg anziehen. Ich kombiniere dunkle Leder Coulottes mit einem hellen Cashmere Pullover mit dunklem Saum. Dazu trage ich einen langen, olivgrünen Mantel, der den Look etwas aufbricht. Als Eyecatcher trage ich rostrote Samtboots, goldene Creolen und meine schwarze Chanel Tasche.

Dieser Look ist absolut für den gesamten Tag geeignet. In Hamburg kann das Wetter vor allem im Herbst oder Winter schon einmal so richtig kalt und grau werden. Da ist es immer gut, einen Mantel bei sich zu haben. Hamburg ist eine eher schicke Stadt, trotzdem kann man sich anziehen wie man will, was mir total wichtig ist. Je nach Stadtteil sind die meisten Menschen eher ein bisschen schicker oder lässiger gekleidet. Die Fotos aus dem heutigen Post wurden in Winterhude gemacht. Vor allem, wenn man zum Lunchen oder zu einem Event tagsüber eingeladen ist, passt dieser Look perfekt. Mit einem paar Sneakers wird aus diesem Look ganz schnell eine eher abgewandelte lässige Variante.
