There are these days, when things are not going the way how they actually suppose to be. It starts with getting up on the wrong side of bed on a monday morning and it just doesn’t get better! As we say: one negative incident attracts another. It’s like a chain of reactions. When we think negative, we cause to radiate negativity and accordingly those moments, which aren’t going well, are much more on the spot! During that moment, we are more likely to obsess over the conflict and it gets quite tough to get out of this vicious circle. For those kinds of situations, just keep thinking: It’s just a bad day and not a bad life… From time to time keep laughing about yourself and consider if it’s worth the effort to get annoyed about this issue. Try to learn from such difficult and negative moments and focus on that. The next time you will deal with similar issues much more differently. Save the energy for the important and beautiful things in life.
What really helps me during these days, is sport. But to find motivation is a challenge for me sometimes. I try to imagine, how much fun I am going to have and how much it distracts me from everyday problems. It’s like my personal time-off for my thoughts and the great feeling afterwards make up for this mornings strains!
You could also try out meditation sessions a day. Meanwhile you can find some really good apps, that can help you to switch off for a moment and to invest more time in yourself. The meditation helps you to relieve feelings like fear, rage, stress or desperation. If you have trouble falling asleep, the app could help you with that too: You are going to focus on breathing and there are various exercises to make it much easier to fall asleep.
If you are a fan of yoga, you can combine the meditation with a yoga session. You can try some yoga exercises via Youtube for a few minutes right after you get up. Yoga is perfect for musculature and it helps you to start your day relaxed and balanced.
Don’t be too hard on yourself. Pay more attention to yourself and start to respect yourself! Nowadays we often go to short on ourselves. Give yourself more time during the day and also appreciate the time. Read books, be creative, go for a walk! You will realize that you will feel better. I’ve created a board via Pinterest that you can also use for a motivational push. There you will find many quotes and tips, that will motivate yourself and make you feel better. You will finde the board HERE.
With this in mind: “Make yourself a priority.”
