Dear loved ones,
today I’m going to write about something personal on Designdschungel. There are some alterations… for me, for us, for Blogwalk! At the end of this month, I’m going to leave Blogwalk. There are several reasons I want to go into detail and I would like to talk about with you.
As you surely know, it wasn’t an easy decision for me. I thought about it for so long, because Blogwalk was a part of me as a blogger. I’ve been a member from scratch and I moved my blog after a few months from when I started, to Blogwalk. It was such a great and exciting project for me: My posts were shown and shared on a website with many other bloggers, so we obtained a wider range. Besides, all bloggers could strengthen each other. My readers couldn’t only see my own posts, they also got the chance to read articles e.g. from the Shoppisticated Girls… or the other way around. I’ve always been a big fan of working “together” not “against each other”. United we stand and I still think it’s great and meaningful… and if you can support each other, everything is making more fun, right? I was totally hooked, when Kira from Shoppisticated told me about this project. I was calling the agency (Gessulat&Gessulat), RTLinteractive and the decision was made. I was looking forward to the time together, the project, which started in October 2014.
After almost 3 years at Blogwalk, I considered the results and I love to reminisce about the time. Anyway, now is the time to say farewell. Why? Because I noticed, that I have experienced personal development, I have specific ideas for my blog, my presence and my representation. Since from the beginning, Designdschungel was and still is my baby. Especially due to my studies before my blog, I know for sure how I wanna present my content and how I wanna show things to my readers, who support me for years. I am honest: my ideas and visions were not always concur with Blogwalk. I just had different ideas, sometimes even a different opinion and another interpretation by me as a blogger and Designdschungel as my blog. I can feel blessed, that Julian is not only part of my personal life, but rather engaged also in business. In this way, we talk a lot about what will happen or what ideas we have. We planned a lot, what we couldn’t have effectuate in this form.
The Blogwalk project was such an incredible journey or experiment, in what I gladly got involved with and I had always so much fun. The people, who founded Blogwalk, are incredible! The team, who stands behind this project, are dear to my heart. But especially the blogwalk girls, all other bloggers, made my decision super tough. Every single girl is in her own individually way absolutely amazing. I’ve always loved to be in a different city and just texted in the group chat, “Guys, I’m in xx, anyone wants to drink a coffee?”. And I also loved the feeling of belonging to a group and to make new friends, because of the project.
The Blogwalk project was a really great experience. But now it’s time to say farewell. Will there be any changes for you? Not at all!… Except that my contents aren’t shown on Blogwalk anymore, but rather only on Designdschungel.com. My style, my blog or my looks won’t change at all. I really hope, that you still going to support me and my blog will be still interesting for you. Maybe some of you are going to join me on my “new” adventure, even when you found me as a different blogger through Blogwalk. I am absolutely thankful for the last years and I’m always happy about every single comment and every feedback I get from you! It’s just amazing to know, that some of you have read and comment my articles since years. Everything what I do at the moment, wouldn’t be possible without you. That’s why a big thank you goes out to you, my readers! <3
I’m looking forward to the future and I hope I will meet you again on Designdschungel.com!
xx Laura
