At the beginning we all were skeptical towards slides with fur. Especially the extreme hairy version of Princetown slippers by Gucci. They actually were associated with Trump’s hairstyle… But I must say the trend became tremendously established by time! Let’s begin with those notorious ,,Adiletten”. There was a time, they were renowned as convenient and comfy, then again as crummy shoes, through to one of the biggest fashion items!
Whether on the runway during Fashion Week or on the feet of the first and biggest fashion blogger world wide. But slides are completely open and aren’t keeping the feet warm. Therefore we are coming to the following megatrend: Slides with fur! Luxury fashion designer as Miu Miu or Givenchy create slides, which have absolutely nothing in common with the shower sandal-look.
They come in different colors or with pearl ornaments. They just look super fancy and even keep the feet warm because of its fur.
Also sport brands, for instance Puma (Fenty) got inspiration and convinced themselves and now they fall for that fluffy trend.
